Pilot terms
Terms for using BunStack during the pilot
Version 2026-09-13. In force for the length of the pilot.
These terms apply between BunStack and the company that creates an account (you) for as long as the pilot runs. They are short because the pilot is: BunStack is being used by its first merchants, and both sides are still finding out what the service needs to promise.
01What BunStack provides
An admin at bunstack.co, a shop on a bunstack.shop address or your own domain, a designer for that shop, and the integrations listed in the admin. BunStack may change or remove features during the pilot and says so in the admin or by mail.
02Fees
There is no fee during the pilot. Nothing is charged and no payment details are collected. If BunStack introduces a fee you are told in writing beforehand and can end the pilot instead. Your own costs with Kustom, Sendify, your domain registrar and similar are between you and them.
03No service level
BunStack is provided as is during the pilot. There is no SLA: no uptime commitment, no promised response time, and maintenance may interrupt the service. BunStack does what it can to keep the service running and to fix faults quickly, and tells you about incidents that affect your shop.
04Your responsibilities
- The products you sell, their descriptions, prices and VAT are yours to get right.
- Your shop needs its own terms of purchase, privacy policy and returns page. The admin provides templates, and the go-live check refuses to open a shop without published terms, privacy and returns pages.
- Keep your login to yourself and tell BunStack at once if you think it has been misused.
- Use the service for a lawful shop and nothing else.
05Your data and your customers' data
Everything in your shop — products, orders, customers, reviews, pages — belongs to you. This section is the data processing agreement between us for the pilot:
- Subject and purpose: hosting and running your shop for the length of the pilot. The data is what your customers enter to buy — name, address, e-mail, phone, order history — and what you record about them in the admin.
- BunStack processes that data only on your documented instructions, which for the pilot are these terms and what you do in the admin.
- Everyone at BunStack with access is bound to confidentiality, and access is limited to what running the service requires.
- The sub-processors are the ones named in the privacy notice. BunStack tells you before adding one; you can object by ending the pilot.
- BunStack helps you answer access, correction and erasure requests through the customer page in the admin, and reports a personal data breach affecting your shop without undue delay.
- When the pilot ends BunStack deletes your shop's data once you have exported it, unless law requires otherwise.
06Getting your data out
You can export orders, customers, products, inventory and the activity log as CSV from their pages in the admin at any time, and one customer's full record from the customer page. Ask support@bunstack.co if you need a format the admin does not offer.
07Ending the pilot
Either side can end the pilot by mail with a month's notice, or at once if the other side breaks these terms. Export what you need before the end date. After it, BunStack deletes the shop and its data within a month, except what law requires either side to keep.
08Liability
During the pilot BunStack is not liable for lost sales, lost data or other indirect loss, and its total liability is limited to what mandatory law requires. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
09Changes and law
BunStack may change these terms. You are told by mail before a change applies, and continuing to use the service after that date means you accept it. Swedish law applies, and disputes go to Swedish courts.
